My two month birthday
My 2 month birthday
Today I am two months old. In the last month I have learned to do several new things. First of all, I am able to hold my head up pretty well. This makes me much easier to hold. When someone is holding me, I am able to look all around the room. I can also focus my eyes so much better and if an object like one of my toys moves from side to side, my eyes will follow it. Mom and Dad are excited because most nights I will sleep 6-8 hours at a time. Another fun thing is that I have learned how to smile on purpose, not just because I have gas.
I had a big month. Mom keeps me pretty busy. I have had a lot of visitors (and a lot of presents). A lot of people have brought dinner to mom and dad which has helped them a lot. I have also been to my Nana’s house a few times. Grammy and grandad came to visit along with Aunt Carissa, Uncle Ryan and my cousin Ty. I had to have a hip sonogram to make sure my hips were not dislocated. That sometimes happens to babies like me who were breech. Luckily everything was just fine. I have lots of friends. Mom takes me to playgroup and to play with Sammy a lot. She also takes me to Itsy Bitsy Yoga - can you believe that, I do yoga? I really like to be outside. I went to the arboretum twice and to White Rock Lake for two picnics.
Today I had a fun day. This morning my Uncle George, Aunt Shannon and cousins Emily and Nathan were here. After my daily nap in my swing, Emily picked out what outfit I would wear for the day. She had so much fun picking something that would make me look cute. Then Emily, Nathan, mom, Aunt Shannon, Hooligan and I went for a walk around the block because it was such a pretty day. It was so relaxing that I took a nap.
Mom had a meeting for the Women’s Ministry and I went with her. It was boring and I was not getting enough attention, so I decided to let them know I was there (I cried). Nana was also at the meeting so she took me to play in the other room.
Mom and Dad’s good friends the Ellis’ had a baby that is five weeks younger than me, Caleb. We went to their house to visit and to take them dinner. Caleb is a cute baby (don’t worry, I don’t have a crush on him, though mommy told me that Caleb and Ethan are boys that I will some day be allowed to date). We stopped at Potbelly for dinner, drove by our rent house and came home.
Mom and Dad sure wear me out, but I like to be busy!
