We got a swing for our front yard and last week Sam hung it in our front tree. Katherine absolutely loves it. She gets a huge smile on her face and even laughs. It is so cute.

Hooligan loves Katherine and Katherine loves Hooligan. Unfortunately for them, they are not allowed to play with one another unsupervised. Rarely do they get to play supervised either. They have to be content to look at one another through the gate.
Today we went to the Arboretum for the third time in one week. We plan to go twice next week and I have been invited a third time. I guess you could say that we really enjoy it. Katherine was very asleep when we arrived and took over an hour nap in her stroller. When she woke up and I wanted to take pictures, she decided that she was tired and tired of pumpkins. Almost all of my pictures have Katherine with either her eyes closed or a bored look on her face. And she had on such a cute Halloween shirt too.
I was lucky though and a friend took a great picture of me with Katherine. This is a rare thing. I find I am usually behind the camera.
Naptime
I think Katherine is finally over her sinus cold and she is back to normal on sleeping. While she was sick, she would wake up at least every two hours all night long. Friday and Saturday night she only woke up once. Yesterday she took two long and one short nap, then she went to bed at 8:30 which is a little earlier than normal and she slept until 7:20 without waking up at all. Then, amazingly, she took a nap this morning at 10:30 IN HER CRIB. Mommy is very happy about all of this because she is able to get more sleep and get more done in addition to the fact that Katherine is feeling better.
