Just a little encouragement from a mom who begins scheduling from day one. It is not easy even from the very beginning either. Just as you think you get a good schedule down it changes as they change and grow. Feedings start dropping and they eventually get on our eating schedule. (We are not there yet). Right when you think you find a good window of time to meet friends they decided to start taking longer naps (which is a blessing), but then that changes the schedule yet again. We always have a goal for a wake up time, nap times and eating times that we begin to work towards and hopefully end up with. It is a lot of hard work, but it pays off in the end. Know that I am praying for you guys.

Hey Christy - I am going through transitions with Mia as well. She is eating very well - ENJOYS food, but I can't quite figure out which nursing-feeding to cut out. And I have done this once before, but each child is different, and like you say trahsition is just hard. We are changing from port-a-crib by my bed, to her crib - all the way across the house. It has been a hard week on the parents, getting up to insert binky in and pat the hiney - hee hee! Call me if you ever want to share stories, I am right with you on some things... need my phone #? Love your blogs! BTW, Mia's naps are about as sporadic - they even out eventually - I promise!

Despite the hard times, it sounds like you're off to a good start. The important thing is to be consistent. Keep up the good work!
