Sorry I have taken a brief vacation from blogging. We were in California this weekend (I will blog about it later). It seems I have so many pictures and stories that need to be posted that I keep putting it off.

This is my 250th post. I really have enjoyed blogging. It can be very theraputic and reflective.

New Year’s Resolutions

Well, if my 10 month daughter can have New Year’s resolutions, I need to have some too.

1. Leave the country - My passport has no new stamps.

2. Actually get all of our video of Katherine off the tapes, onto the computer and some even posted to our blog.

3. Finish Katherine’s first year scrapbook by the time she is 18 months (we have to be realistic)

4. Eat better - more veggies, fruits and whole grains, fewer sweets and soft drinks.

5. Get back into the gym once a week (again, I have to be realistic) and maybe even meet with my trainer again.

6. Do a better job on Katherine’s sleep training. I am ready for both of us to sleep through the night.

7. Get back to my pre-pregnancy body (I’ve lost the pounds but not the flab).

8. Keep the house a little more tidy and organized so it does not bring me down.

9. Keep track of our budget after more than a year break in doing so.

10. Be better disciplined in spending time with God.

My New Year’s Resolutions

Baby New Year 2007

Baby New Year 2007

This is my first New Year’s Day. Mom took a picture of me dressed as Baby New Year . She has a picture of her taken as Baby New Year 1973 that she may post later.

On my first New Year, I need to make my first list of New Year’s resolutions so here they are:

1. Learn to walk

2. Sleep all the way through the night consistently.

3. Learn to drink from a sippy cup.

4. Take better naps.

5. Graduate up to my new car seat.

6. Leave the country - I have a passport mom, let’s use it.

7. See my new cousin Scooter a lot after she is born in February.

8. Eat a variety of new foods.

9. Learn to communicate my wants and needs using sign language and words.

10. Have a lot of fun with my friends doing all the fun things in Dallas.
